PRECIOUS POINTS OF PETER'S

1. "Precious Blood Of CHRIST"
   1. 1 Peter 1:17-19
      With this blood, not the rudiments of the world, we are saved.
   2. Hebrews 10:1-4; 9:6-15, 18-22
      Christ's blood accomplished what the blood of animals could not.
   3. Matthew 26:28; 1 John 1:6-7; Ephesians 1:7; Revelation 5:9; Ephesians 2:11-13
      His blood redeems, remits, and reconciles!
2. "A Living Stone... Chosen By GOD And Precious"
   1. 1 Peter 2:4-8
   2. Psalm 118:22-23; Isaiah 28:16
      The cornerstone chosen by God is that which men would reject.
   3. 1 Corinthians 3:11; Matthew 16:16-18
      Jesus is our only sure foundation.
   4. 1 Peter 2:5; Matthew 7:24-27
      As living stones, ourselves, we must be built upon the proper foundation.
3. "Precious Faith"
   1. 2 Peter 1:1-2
      Faith in Christ is a precious thing.
   2. Hebrews 11:6
      Faith in Him pleases God.
   3. 1 John 5:4-5
      "Faith is the victory that overcomes the world!"
   4. 2 Timothy 4:7-8
      Faith must be kept in order to obtain the great reward.
   5. 1 Peter 1:3-9; James 1:2-3
      Again, faith is precious. It's end is our salvation, if we endure trial.
4. "Precious Promises"
   1. 2 Peter 1:2-4
      Through these "exceedingly great and precious promises" we are enabled to "partake of the divine nature."

      We patiently await the promise of His coming at which time the promise of the new heavens will be fulfilled.

      Eternal life is the promise!
